Testing serves as a bridge between design and analysis, gives support to model predictions and substantiates engineering designs. With in-house data acquisition and testing capabilities, Quatro Composites™ is continuously testing new materials in order to improve product performance. Quatro also tests completed components to ensure they are qualified to customer specifications. Such physical testing may include static testing, vibration testing, EMI shielding testing, and environmental testing. Testing may also be done to determine radiolucency of medical imaging products.
Quatro's testing services support in-house program development. From materials characterization databases to testing sub-components and full-scale systems, Quatro has developed the experience and facilities necessary to conduct many structural tests, including making measurements and evaluation of materials and assemblies. The in-house testing facility includes a 10,000 lb universal load frame used for tensile, compression, shear and fracture toughness testing.
Our micrography laboratory is equipped to perform examination and post test evaluation of composite materials. Quatro Composites™ has access to local Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy facilities.
